This relationship started back in 1979 when MBI owner, “Big Joe” was working as an apprentice bricklayer with his dad, Frank McGill. About 10 years ago there was a leak in the Harper Center causing damage to the structure. Creighton contacted MBI in search of a solution to the leak. MBI developed a customized solution to stop the leak without disturbing the structure. MBI proved to be a valuable resource and since then has worked with Creighton on various projects ranging from tuckpointing to rebuilding mop sinks and lining them with a traffic coating keeping the campus functional and beautiful.
